IN A CLEFT STICK.

I’m not the first person to express such thoughts, and I certainly won’t be the last!
After this COVID-19 Pandemic by being a Teacher, many of us are facing problems, whether it is regarding our salary issues or by getting dismissed from the job.
I’ve heard about so many of the renowned organizations that are not paying their staff and even if they are paying they are not paying enough! Most of the employees are working just because they are already in a cleft stick that after they resign will they get another job? And if some of them have taken that step by Trusting they don’t even get their remaining and deposited amount from the organizations, what is this man? What’s the Teacher’s fault in all this?
If they have that big excuse for them (that our students aren’t paying how could we pay, to our staff) so dear, here I want to bring something to your attention that I’m also a teacher and I’m also working in an organization and, it’s been February till now, and I and the rest of the staff are getting their whole salary no matter if they are taking online classes, they are working from home or they are visiting campus just once in a week! They are getting the exact amount on which they’ve hired. Yes, it’s true.
The ones who stick to their decisions that we cannot pay their staff and it’s up to them if they want to work or not.
And if they are setting off their staff on unpaid leaves and if they are dismissing them from their jobs, then how could a Teacher will pay the fee for their children and if she/he is the only one who’s doing this job and if she/he is the single parent for their kids how could be an organization do such things with their employees. I’m more than blessed Al-hamdulillah for being an employee of such an organization May Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’ala bless them for what they are doing.
It’s good if some of them are doing the same way, but what about the rest? Can’t it be better for all of us to stop hiring the new ones and just keep paying the previous staff as some of them bound with an organization for the last, 2,3 & 5 years and even more than that and if there are no such things in an “Appointment Letter” there’s a Courtesy there’s a Humanity and we all need to understand this!
